What began as a small dream became a living project shaped by our father’s vision, our mother’s dedication, and the heritage of generations before us. Every space, every detail, and every decision reflects who we are as a family and what we believe hospitality should feel like: warm, intentional, and deeply human.
No matter where you visit, you are going to be in a place that is inundated with memories, laughter, love. Where birthdays, sleepovers, and holidays were all staged. We invite you to share these spaces so you can feel what we felt.
Macando Collection es una historia de familia — una que ha crecido, evolucionado y se ha transformado junto a nosotros. Lo que comenzó como un sueño pequeño se convirtió en un proyecto vivo, moldeado por la visión de nuestro padre, la dedicación de nuestra madre y la herencia de generaciones anteriores. Cada espacio, cada detalle y cada decisión reflejan quiénes somos como familia y lo que creemos que debe sentirse la hospitalidad: cálida, intencional y profundamente humana.

Xavier — The Vision & Design
Our father, Xavier, is the heart behind the design of both hotels. As an architect, he approaches every space with intention — selecting materials, colors, and textures that honor local culture while reflecting his Colombian identity. Buen Día carries his warmth, his love for art, and his belief that hospitality should feel like home. His architectural eye and appreciation for craftsmanship continue to guide the evolution of our spaces.
Nuestro padre, Xavier, es el corazón detrás del diseño de ambos hoteles. Como arquitecto, aborda cada espacio con intención — seleccionando materiales, colores y texturas que honran la cultura local mientras reflejan su identidad colombiana. Buen Día lleva su calidez, su amor por el arte y su creencia de que la hospitalidad debe sentirse como en casa. Su mirada arquitectónica y su aprecio por el diseño siguen guiando la evolución de nuestros espacios.
Maria Jose — The Spirit of Hospitality
Our mother has been part of this journey since the very beginning. From operations to guest care, she has supported every corner of the hotel with heart and resilience. Hospitality runs in her family — from her mother to her grandmother, who once ran a boarding house in Estelí. That legacy of care, service, and warmth lives on in everything we do.
Nuestra madre ha sido parte de este camino desde el inicio. Desde operaciones hasta la atención al huésped, ha apoyado cada rincón del hotel con corazón y dedicación. La hospitalidad corre en su familia — desde su madre hasta su abuela, quien administró una pensión en Estelí. Ese legado de cuidado, servicio y calidez vive en todo lo que hacemos.
